I have to agree with yume_aria on the wood, it looks excellent! You make very crisp, careful lines in general.
Maybe next time you do an interior sketch, try it at an angle that will put the walls diagonal to the plane of the paper to help it have more depth. The only thing that really bothered me was your ankle/foot. They don't read as an ankle and foot to me, it just looks like the leg abruptly ends and has toes on it. Feet are really difficult to draw, though, and all that helps is lots of practise. I found it interesting to get a glimpse of your room (cool hammock!).
The portrait comes across as very quiet, reserved, and dignified, possibly even a little sad. The lack of context keeps me distant from it; I find the drawing in the setting of your room to be a more personable portrait.
Thanks for the comment! It's so hard to notice anything about a drawing after staring at it for nine hours :)
I actually like drawing lots of fiddly little details, so I'll probably do another drawing of my room soon and I'll try to actually include walls next time :) Yeah, feet are bitches to draw, they come out looking odd even if I draw them exactly the way I see them.
You're right about the portrait, I do look terribly serious.

The wood pattern is faked, because even my patience stops at wood :)
