This is my future:

1. I am going to study Transcultural Communication.
This is not my first choice (this is my fourth choice), but then, my first choice sucked, I didn't quite pass the entrance examination for the second choice, the third choice was actually my mother's choice, and then there were a few other half-assed choices in between. So I ( Read more... )

Uhm, I stumbled across your LJ accidentally, and I don't want to be creepy or anything, but YAY transcultural communication!!!!!
I study it in Vienna! What is your other language besides English? And why do I still write in English? lol
I hoff es gfoid da! Und ka Sorge wegen dem Dialekt, ich hab auf da Uni glernt, dass jedes Englisch RICHTIGES Englisch is... (hoffentlich gibts in Graz ned so sinnlose VOs wie Global English and International Communication)

My other language is Arabic (quite by accident, I didn't get into the Spanish course)

Deutsch schreiben is komisch wenn ma Dialekt redet! Irgendwie fang i immer mit Hochdeutsch an und hör mit Dialekt auf.

Was is den des für a komische Vorlesung, jedes mal wenn i jemand hör, der mit am furchtbaren deutschen akzent mit englischsprechenden Professoren redet, zuck i zsammen weil der deusche akzent einfach so scheiße klingt.

Spaß wär übertrieben (Arabisch is schwer!), aber es is auf jeden Fall interessant.

Ich schreib lieber auf Englisch, weil ich es so schwierig find beim Hochdeutschen zu bleiben (du solltest meine SMS sehen, und wenn ich mundart schreib versteht mich nicht jeder XD
Cool, Arabisch! Wie hast du das gelernt? Und wann fangst mit da Uni an? Im Sommersemester?
Ich fand die VO auch doof, ich hasse Englisch mit deutschen Akzent! bäh! Wie schwer kann des "th" scho sein?

You should totally get one, because most of my lj entries are actually friendslocked. Plus it's not like the rest of us do anything other than fannish squeeing :)

How did you accidentally stumble over my lj if you don't have one?

German is such an awkward language to write in casually! Even when it's standard German.

I'm definitely going to need a lot of luck with Arabic, it's a bitch to learn, I'm just starting now. I did post pictures already, but they're friendslocked (join lj! :P)
