Attention Citizens,

The beings that are chasing you are commonly referred to as "Weeping Angels". They are extremely dangerous and this is not the first time they have descended upon the City.

Do NOT turn your back on them, they are extremely dangerous but they are unable to move if they are observed. So long as they are seen they are immobile.

They have to be watched. All the time.

Do they look for eye movement? What about blinking?

If you blink, then for that instant, the Angel isn't seen and it is free to move. It will stop again once your eyes open, but they move extremely fast. Do it too often and you will be at their mercy.

Why are they so dangerous? What happens if you look away, and they catch you?

I can't say for certain what the result would be here, but in my world, you're displaced. Sent to a time before your existence so the Angels can feed off the life you would have led had you stayed in place.

That is how I understood it, at any rate. I, personally have not experienced these creatures and am working of information gathered from the Doctor.

The Doctor? Who is he?

He's one of my kind, from my world. There are actually... two versions of him in the City at the moment. And they both have the same knowledge of the Angels... at least as far as I know.

There are a few surrounding the TARDIS, Romana, and I can find the Doctor nowhere.

They shouldn't be able to get inside. Nothing can force itself inside the TARDIS.

I would very much like to believe that, but they are banging quite loudly against the sides.

Do you know how many there are?
