School's good. Had my first test today, and if I didn't ace it I'll be shocked. I need more scrubs, 2 pair is not going to last me 7 months. Unfortunately that's $60 I don't really have. Hemmed one pair an inch too short for my tastes, gotta figure out if I can fix it somehow. Lily's a crankypants to the nth degree, we've both got to get used

My dad politely started asking them about their thoughts on reincarnation, past lives and seances. That did the trick.

I'm not brave enough (rude enough?) to do anything horrible or shocking to Jehovah's Witnesses (though I do love the story about the SCAdian in garb, getting ready for an event, who answered the door holding his 2 year old by her foot (she liked being held upside down that way) while his wife called out asking where the knives were) but I once told one politely but firmly that I was not about to convert, that my faith and beliefs were pretty well grounded and that I just wasn't interested. It helped though that I am already Christian, just a bit--um, less traditional? and more liberal than they are.
