Just sent back my third disk from Netflix. Using it to check out some series I've missed out on by not having cable. Cable's too bloody expensive, but Netflix I can afford. So far I've experienced Trueblood and Metalocalypse (don't ask why...). Got Tudors and a bunch of stuff for Lily queued up, too ( Read more... )

I'm totally addicted to The Tudors. The last season is coming up early in the new year.

If it were just me, I'd get rid of cable in a heart beat and get netflix instead. Maybe I can't watch the new stuff as it airs (but I never do anyway), but I can watch when I want to watch, as fast or slow as I want, for a lot less money. But DB loves his sports, and that means having cable because there are so few games now on non-cable channels.
