So I finally just admitted that I need to give up my car.  The poor thing is on it's last legs.  I could probably nurse it along a little longer but I just don't have the money or patience to do so.  So, I'm going to get a bus pass on September 1 and just do it that way for awhile.  Not having to put gas in my car all the time will help a little

And I've found from my three plus years not owning a car that I'm now in the best shape I've ever been in and I've got muscles in my legs I didn't even know existed. Let me not forget to mention how much you actually save too. Owning a car, even a reliable one is expensive. Good luck.
