So, we've been sitting on the lump sum payment from Social Security for several months now. While I've been here in Texas, hubby called 3 places for estimates to side the house. Only ! (!!) of the contractors showed up to give him an estimate, so we're going with them. They're bonded, licensed, and insured, have good reports both with the BBB and

No, we haven't moved. We've just never been able to afford siding the house til now.

Ah! I understand..for some reason, I saw "Texas" adn thoguht you had. But I have been very tires lately, and misunderstood.

I'm in Texas visiting a dear friend (who's also my laurel) for another week. Then I board a train and head home. :-)
