Social Security finally came through - the money is now safely in our checking account! Now we will begin getting estimates to get the house sided. Yay ( Read more... )

My attorney called - I have been found to be disabled by Social Security! That means I'll get a monthly check from them and a lump sum payment as well.

I cannot even begin to express the relief that I feel...

Kat, Ceinwen, Serena, and I went to the Baronial Investiture at Cynnabar this past weekend. While the event was small, it was well attended and fun. I got to meet some new people and to hang out with some old friends. It was so nice to see everyone ( Read more... )

Update on my Eyes

Hubby took me to the eye doctor's on Thursday morning. I had a different doctor this time. He says he wants to see me back in 6 months to see how much the cataract in my left eye has changed - maybe enough to warrant surgery to remove the lens and replace it. He's also recommending against contacts at this time because of the possibility of surgery ( Read more... )
