Vincent Price is on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and he's playing a snarky, well-dressed, French spy and it's quite honestly the best thing I've seen all day.
LOL. I am glad you're delighted! It's been ages since I've seen that episode and I don't remember a lot about it. It was one of the season 2 episodes I enjoyed more than others, though. :) And I liked last week's a lot more than I thought I might.
I wanted more interaction between Marton and Waverly. Whatever was going on with those two was a thousand times more interesting than Napoleon slutting all over the Girl of the Week, but then, pretty much anything is more interesting than Napoleon slutting all over the Girl of the Week. But seriously...French spy Vincent Price. That might be the actual best thing.
Mission: Impossible is pretty enjoyable tonight, too.
LOL. But yes, we need Marton and Waverly backstory. I wonder if fanfic writers have ever gone into that? They like to explore some of the oneshot characters, but I think usually it's when the oneshot characters have history with Napoleon or Illya.
Buwahaha. I look forward to seeing this episode again! I have it recording right now.
There was definitely some history, there, but I'd love to know if it was strictly professional history. I would honestly just watch an episode of those two snarking and one-upping each other. And the presence of Vincent Price improves pretty much anything, even when he's NOT being a French spy.
The bad guys paralyzed Peter Graves's character with drugs, and Martin Landau's character was fretting over him, and there was an elaborate disguise-making scene.
