Prankklok

- "And the ocean was at once the destroyer and the savior." Is that Werner Herzog again? At any rate, hi, plot.

- And once again, the idea that Charles is secretly Facebones makes things a hundred times funnier.

- "Unrippable water tracks"...I wonder if it's the album that you can only listen to by injecting it into your veins that was mentioned in that one interview ages back.

- A one-note album preview. That's briefer than a coffee-jingle, certainly.

- Nathan's unhappy with the album cover. Nathan's perfectionism continuity pleases me.

- Murderface is prank-calling people. It's the knock-knock texting all over again.

- Toki wants nice old ladies to hang out with him and order pizza, worries when they hang up, and hopes they're okay. Aw.

- Skwisgaar wants overweight divorced African American ladies to have sex with him, worries when they hang up, and hopes they're okay. Less aw, but still.

- Toki's vacation plans are to sit around watching Skwisgaar play guitar. And the Skwiski-shippers rejoiced at last.

- Murderface goes to Civil War reenactments. So happy that's canon.

- Nathan's put on weight since Renovationklok.

- Nathan and Pickles go on friender-benders. The "no caring" rule is well and truly shot to hell.

- Nathan's not allowed to drink tequila because it "turns him into a dark person." It also apparently turns him into King Kong.

- While waiting for the album to ship, Dethklok is "taking it easy." I see what you did there.

- Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone solely for prank calls. Pearl Harbor and the Bay of Pigs were the result of prank calls. Oh, Tribunal. *...drinks*

- The Falconback Project hinges on the improved economy, and Salacia's doing his "let it play out" schtick. TV Tropes just has me convinced that this means Salacia knows when things are going to fail and prefers to just sit back and watch.

- Speculation time: The Falconback Project involves missiles. The Metalocalypse involves planets lining up. Does the Falconback Project involve blowing up the planets? Or possibly blowing up other things while major eclipses are messing with stuff?

- Toki has coloring books. Aw.

- Murderface knows Toki's just going to take Skwisgaar if he has two tickets to anything. If you listen closely, you can hear the fangirlish shrieks all over the country.

- Toki wears board shorts. Skwisgaar wears a Speedo. And I'm having "Dethklok vs. The Goon" flashbacks all of a sudden.

- No, Nathan. Don't drink that. Pickles is drinking hot sauce and blueberry schnapps.

- "Buy some anthrax! Thats gets you in real trouble!" That is...strangely adorable. They're like teenage girls calling convenience stores to ask if they have Dr. Pepper in a can, and if so, that they'd better let him out.

- That polite goodbye was worlds away from "I shall send for the rest of my parcels in the morning. *birdflip*"

- ...tequila makes prophetic lady whales talk to Nathan. It's not just a bad reaction to specific booze, it's fucking visions.

- ...and wow this episode got really dark really fast.

- ...everyone is getting beaten. D: Do they not recognize Dethklok members when they see them, or do they just not care?

- I'm not sure we can even blame Dethklok for these particular storms, since no one was performing (quick, somebody grab a screenshot of Scrambles and see how things compare).

- Nathan with a battle axe is one of my favorite things, but in this case it's fucking terrifying.

- Whoa, whoa, Nathan made Pickles bleed. And the look of horror on Pickles's face punched me right in the feelings.

- Nathan destroyed the master recording. The economy and Falconback are fucked. The ocean destroyed the albums, but did it save the world by doing so?

- "Dethklok must go back in the water." Up to a point, I was willing to assume the whales were the most trustworthy characters in the series, but what if they're not? If the Falconback Project is a means of preventing the Metalocalypse, and destroying the albums throws the Falconback Project off-track, and the world ends in water as has been hinted since the first season, then whales are trying to end the world so they can rule the planet.

PLOT, YOU GUYS.
