What kind of contacts/solution do you use? There is aparently this wierd sort of infection/fungus thing going around that have optomotrists baffled (not baffled about what it is, baffled because it used to be rare and now for some reason a bunch of contact weareres seem to be getting it.) Then on the news the other night I saw that they were warning people to stop using one of the ReNu products because they think that it might be linked to the infection.

I use Complete Brand. The opthomologist checked for the fungal infection as soon as he ruled out conjunctivitis, but it's definitely bacterial. Just one of those things that happens and was exaggerated because I wear contacts and contacts exaggerate things like this.
And yes, bad ulcer. I went back to the opthomologist today and it's not going away very fast even though I'm using the drops like I should -- why can't someone invnet cherry flavored eye drops? -- and I'm not allowed to work again until at LEAST monday.
So once again I go in to battle against boredom. At least not being able to drive anywhere (I am SO photosensitive) means I can't spend money I don't have ...
