I think one can, sometimes, try to cahnge/improve oneself if ones beloveds have issues.

Of course, they also need to do the same.

I love a lot of people. And none of them are perfect in my eyes, nor do I expect to be perfect in theirs. Good enough? oh yeah.

I do expect and require people not to LIE.

I think when people stab, it's more about them than you-= though it still hurts a lot.

I don't think loving someone means thinking they're perfect. Expecting perfection sets you up for failure because no one is perfect. Loving someone means being willing to overlook their imperfections. I think that someone who loves you shouldn't ask or expect you to change but because you love him you might want to change in ways that improve yourself and your relationship. Some kinds of changes are good, some aren't. There's a big difference from doing something like giving up smoking or excessive drinking and giving up your hobbies or your friends or changing your core values though. If you make changes, they should probably be to improve your core self, not to wipe out pieces of it. It sounds like the type of changes you made were the wrong type and maybe for the wrong reasons.

I will never understand why people have to brutally stab at the heart of who a person is.I think that people who do this are unhappy themselves and think that making other people unhappy will somehow make them happier themselves, like there's a limited ( ... )
