Okay, again with the not posting - I can't explain it. Perhaps it's because nothing really exciting happens day-to-day around here. Don't get me wrong - I'm totally enjoying my life of semi-leisure, but it does make for boring blogging. I finished it this afternoon - I liked it a lot, but was disappointed by the ending. I thought it fell a little flat. But maybe I need a couple of days to absorb it. In any case, I am motivated to look for some of her other books.

Becca- a few thoughts in response. First one is that I totally understand your description of having to limit how much you're reading in one sitting. I'm a little late jumping on the Michael Chabon bandwagon, and I have to force myself every day to put down The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay after a certain time period every day. Second thing is that I laughed my ass off at the 70s ads. Finally, I'd like to tell you my name poem.
