Yeah, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a floor fight, or much controversy at all at the DNC. I agree with your assessment of the fictional convention; I remember mocking North Carolina, the second state to cast its delegates, because they had a handful of stragglers who refused to vote for Kerry (Kucinich?). I'm glad the it sounds like the West Wing is getting better; I haven't been watching the 6th season, but I watch the first three over and over on dvd!

Becca- I am so glad someone else thought that they saw signs of life in TWW for the first time in forever. I have to say that I don't know if I'd go so far as to say best in years though. I think that may be your presidential trivia geekiness coming through! I do wholeheartedly agree that the thought of conventions in real life being more like on the West Wing would be awesome.

Aside from the convention, what did you think of the rest of the episode? Leo for veep? Interesting stuff.
