yuletide and lethargy

Today has been full of laundry, grocery shopping, and lethargy. whee. Which means that I finished reading Yuletide! If you have any more stories to recommend, I'd love to see them, because I inevitably miss some in the enormous pool of potential stories to read. Here are the last bunch of stories that I did find:

Scenes from a Cultural Exchange, or, The Muppets Take New Burbage. A Slings and Arrows crossover. Darren invites some Very Special Guest Stars to New Burbage, and life becomes hilarious.

(I saw the Good Eats/Winnie the Pooh/Muppet Show crossover, but was disappointed, alas! Even with so many of my favorite things in the same place, it didn't work.)

Academe. Recommended by orichalcum and velvetmouse. “I don’t actually publish that often," Indiana Jones tells his father…

Yip et Non, recommended by tarimanveri. Abelard and Bernard are Pomeranians. It is WEIRD and hilarious.

Domestic Affairs, recommended by orichalcum. Ekaterin Vorkosigan has some intrigue of her own. I love the humor and the timing in this one, and I love seeing things from Ekaterin's perspective.

Not the Last Unknown. Near the end of Connie Willis's All Clear. Colin talks to Kivrin, a few more pieces fall into place, and time travelers deal with the knowledge that some of them don't come back. To say more would be to give spoilers, but if you've already read Blackout and All Clear, go read this now.

The Toll of History. After the end of Connie Willis's Doomsday Book, Kivrin tries to readjust to the 21st century, and to the fact that she survived.

And one final Connie Willis, For Love of a Book. Written by magelette, who understands the importance of books.

Obscure Canadian Sports Week, and Other Celebrations. Sports Night! It's got the Sorkin rhythm and sense of humor.

Somewhere In Between, Tangled. Flynn Rider is having trouble adjusting to being Prince Eugene, but is still funny.

The Meandering Exploration Experiment, Middleman. It's a Middle Road Trip! I liked this best of all of the Middlefics this year.

The Yvain Fragments. A sequel to Chretien de Troyes' Yvain, written for highlyeccentric.
