Here is what I'm confused about- People complaining.

I have been a fan of the books and I never ONCE thought of Meyer as this amazing writer. Please- the lady writes as well as I do.
She just happens to write a good story. I thought all 4 of the books were written like Fanfics if you ask me.

Sure the first three books were more developed. But stop

I didn't know that some people were especially unhappy with the 4th book, but I did hear from several sources that, as you say, Meyer's writing was never the best to begin with, so it seems strange that some people are just recognizing this now. I guess they were too in love with the story to realize it until it ended *lol*

Im telling you dude. Shes a decent writer but WTF lol-last time I checked she was only decent-nothing special. Thats one of the reasons Im like FANFIC! lol She is able to make you overlook that kind of because she can tell an interesting story. She DID improve from the first book to the last. Very nice imagery in the last book. Doh- if you ask me Nicholas Sparks is sooo overrated and is just a mediocre writer as well. lol

I've never read any Sparks, but I've also heard that's he not a very good writer. I guess if you give people what they want to read, and you're "lucky" enough to get a good amount of publiciity for your novel, quality isn't a necessity, unfortunately *lol*

I read the Notebook! n I must say one of my favorite novels ever!! But then I went on to read two more of his books and they were horrible. I mean a Walk to Remember...I have one word-Garbage lol. I think Meyer is however- a better writer than Sparks. I think I will have to say that.

Lol I couldn't help myself. It was a fun read lol. Its not ENTIRELY fanfictiony but I just mean she writes it like a fangirl. It so romanticized-Perfect man, innocent girl. I dont know. I would still recommend it. Its a good read either way.It pulls you in-IDNK-- I was skeptical because its a teen novel n Im not too fond of those lol

Yeah the baby eating was Edward using his teeth to quickly get the baby out because it was killing her and suffocating inside. I think she just did it to be SHOCKINg lol
Im not gonna totally hate on Meyers writing- SHE did improve from book one.

LOL. I totally agree with you there. I personally enjoyed every second of it. It was entertaining and kept you on your toes. I guess some people are just harder to please =\
