you guys seemed like you had lots of fun! You got some great pictures as well...my favorite is the two of you slightly burned. I want to get the aloe out and rub it on my screen...hehe!! love ya!
oh kayleigh may. they are all beautiful. :D i'm so jealous. thanks for calling me. i figured out what it was eventually. ha. i'm so glad you had a good time. ha. and i loved you're little *music snob* episode. :D it makes me smile. and miss you. :( but i'm so glad you had such a great time. :D love ya kayleigh.
how can bowling for soup possibly attract more people with their "good music" than placebo...i mean what, theyve been around for maybe 5 years? hah...not to be too horribly cliche, but, whats wrong with this picture.
anyway, in all honesty I liked that they were on the side stage for the sole fact that if they were on the main stage we would have been surrounded by 13 year olds and 30 year olds who think they are the shit who really have no respecttful taste in music. plus we got to be super close ;-).
I couldn't really see how big the crowd was..ha..i could hardly see anything at all because we were so close and surrounded by tall people, but it very well could have been more than 300
and I would love to read your review, adding you now :-D
My boyfriend and I live in the valley, so it was about a 9 hour drive for us and we really did go for Placebo, about a month ago we were going to suck it up and go see them in mexico, but we would have gotten lost, so when they announced they were going to dallas we basically said fuck it we can suck it up and make the drive. It really wasn't too horrible because I'm from houston, so I'm quite often making the 6 hour drive
( ... )
Followed the link from the community! I was there. I have the massive sunburn to prove it.
So...Gerard and the guitar player of MCR was actually over there on our left watching Placebo the whole time so I was wondering if they were planning on touring with them...it was so cute cause the two of them were in huge dark sunglasses and hoodies. HAHA. I think good ol' Gerard's pretty face is way too recognizable for that disguise.
I am happy your pics turned out. Mine didn't. Made me mad but I will get over it. I got the poster signed too. Yay.
Thats good that MCR was being supporitive...i mean, hopefully they were watching because they were fans, not just because they wanted to see how they sounded and performed in light of this potential tour...question to ponder.
I didn't even notice anyone around me..I am far too short and could hardly see anything anyway :-P
Thanks for the comment :-) and gotta love your icon!
well that is very good news. thank you for that :-)
I like seeing bands supporting other bands, as opposed to sitting in their trailor/tour bus and waiting to go on..its a festival dammit go enjoy yourself :-)
