More meds?

Went to the Drs today now he has put me on Fentanal patch (excuse the spelling)with percocet as breakthrough . I truly feel that the meds will kill me before cancer, heart attack ect. How much more can a body take. They are only treating the issues, not curing them. Sometimes it becomes overwhelming,and makes me more depressed.I will find a way out ( Read more... )

That really sucks that after all these years they won't give you pain meds . Were you addicted to narcotics? Pot was my thing ,I love smoke, Maybe you could go to another DR. and not tell him about the past? herbs help I just started on that joint one and I take 4000 mg of fish oil,daily. vitamin. magnisium,CoQ10, Melatonin(which helps you sleep) whatever helps with pain and sleep.I wish I could help you because I dont use many of the pain meds or soma. If you lived near me I'd send them to you. I actually woke with no pain this morning. First time in 18 years. I washed ton of clothes ,dusted, did dishes, all in one day.There is a Dr. here that is a fibro specalist and he believes in the herbal way. There is also something out there called SAMe that is suppose to be succsessful I would try anything to stop the pain,even if it meant black market pain killers.My girl friend tested positive for cannibus (pot) and still gets from another DR. pain meds. When ur a product of the 70's boy do I know, those were the best of times though. Sex drugs and rock-n-roll. Being of free spirit. I tried Meth one time but something bad happened so it was like an omen to me. Now I smoke sometimes but not often anymore.I can not believe that they are'nt giving you something that was 13 years ago for crying out loud. Things change., people change. Do you tell evry DR. about it? My friend got tested for drugs they found marijuana and though that clinic will not give her anything other Dr.s are giving her xanax ,percocet, flexiril. Maybe time to change DRs. I'll be on later tonight talk to you then.
