Because of all the mess that the flood has caused in addition to a plethora of family issues, my dad has decided "we need a vacation". Apparently, we're going to Boston in 2 weeks for 3 days. Okay, right on, i'm there. Mom, Dad, and I are all submitting our requests for the trip. My vaycay suggestions? Red Sox game, Cheers, and the Old North ( Read more... )

boston is exciting . . . one of my favorite cities. it's been over a decade since i've been there, but i remember the aquarium being super-rad . . . there's this huge rock in the center with scores of penguins and puffins all over it. it's the worst city to drive in, but an excellent city to walk . . . it's so old by american standards . . . the streets were literally designed around horse traffic. faneuil hall is a great open-air market that was filled with street performers when we were there . . . the fun kind, not the creepy kind.
