Well it's been about a month since I wrote last, which is still pretty good for me... I usually don't post anything of substance for months at a time. Anyway, I'm 12 lbs lighter! Yay Weight Watchers! It's had its really tough moments, but overall it's been worth it. :-) My wedding dress came in, but I haven't tried it on yet because I want to be ( Read more... )

1) Congratulations on your weight loss accomplishment! I'm proud of you:) Can I borrow some of your good habits?

2) I know you're busy, but is there a time (after Spring Break maybe) that you'd like to get a nice dinner or watch a movie or just generally catch up and hang out?

3) YAY for exciting real-life news like houses & jobs and such! Love Littles

OH! Are you working with Carlie Johnston at the business school? If so, tell her I say hi! She's a friend of mine.

1) Thanks! I think the secret to my success is eating a LOT of fruit and working out 6 days a week. 1 point chocolate ice cream bars help too!

2) Absolutely! I asked Meg awhile back to try & organize a family dinner for all of us, but I guess that never panned out. So let's just circumvent that! Thursday night dinners are best for me- are you avaible Thursday evenings?

3) Yup... exciting and a bit scary. But more exciting! Thanks :-)

4) Nope, don't know her... but if I ever meet her I'll forward your message!

Love, BigS

Congratulations on everything, Laura! It seems that things are really working out for you! :)

By the way, I think I have that same exact table (does it has the butterfly leaf in the middle that you can use to make the table a square?), but I have different chairs (same style, but no padded seats...I didn't want the hassle of cleaning them). I bought them at Oak Express. If you have a store nearby, I am pretty sure they have the chairs with the pads on them that you can buy separately. They are pretty popular, from what I heard.

Thanks! And yeah, it does have that leaf... I tried to google Oak Express, but didn't come up with much. I'll keep looking though! Thanks for the tip. :-) Miss you!

Go to www.furniturerow.com

There's a lot of sister companies, but Oak Express is on that site. From a quick glance, if you look at the dining groups and find a match (or something close), you can order the chairs separately. :)
