Vomit, Yuck!

Last Wednesday I woke up sick and ended up throwing up after 12 hours of not eating anything. John and Kailee had had the runs for about a week before so I figured it was the stomach virus they had, it just affected me differently. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I hate throwing up. I can take being sick. But I despise throwing up. And ( Read more... )

Hmmm...

2 thoughts.

A newly developed food allergy to a preservative..or you are in fact, preggers. I've had patients that had a period for the first 2 months of their pregnancies...

I have a thought too...
When my mom had gallstones, she felt a little nauseous every day for quite awhile but it was never enough to really bother her. Then she started throwing up after she ate certain foods (and then just the smell of them). Often it would not be until the evening or next morning that the food would even affect her. She didn't find out it was her gallbladder until it got really bad and she had intense pains in her abdomine.

The other thought of mine also was that you are actually pregnant. Each pregnancy is different, and like ava said, you can have your period for quite awhile... wouldn't hurt to check, right?

I never thought of gallstones. I will have to keep that in mind if I can't pin it on anything else and if it doesn't go away. Thanks hun!

I talked to Kailee's teachers at school. They knew I wasn't feeling well yesterday and asked. So I told them the whole story and both of them had their periods for two months with one of their pregnancies (they both have two children each). With Kailee I had some spotting but not a full period. My periods have been off for the last couple months. ~shrugs~ Not sure what to think. My breasts hurt all last cycle but after my last period they have been fine. And I have been losing weight which isn't very "pregnancy-like" though I guess you never know. I never had morning sickness with Kailee, just constant queasiness. I think I may try to get a test this weekend....just to make sure.

John brought up the food allergy idea today. He thinks I had pizza both nights before throwing up. I can't remember last week. This Tuesday I did have pizza. But I also had it on Monday and Friday and didn't get sick. All from different places, so I doubt that idea.

I have heard of this but never truly thought that it could happen to me. Now I am starting to rething that. It seems to be more common than I once believed. At least a period or two.
