Well I have been around, though as you can see from the schedule above that I had limited computer time. I should be around a little more now that her school will be over soon. But I know she will drive me crazy being home all the time. Just on weekends by Sunday night she does, hate to see her for almost two months until she starts kindergarden.

I love the Head Start program! They are so great. I love how they make helping special needs children a priority. Kailee has a little girl in her class that is autistic named Alexis. She is the sweetest little girl. The other kids are so great with her.

Hope to spot you online soon so we can catch up!

Well I am heading to bed now. Haven't been sleeping so well. I am TRYING to go to bed early to night. Not sure if it will help though. Maybe I can catch you around on Monday....since tomorrow is Father's Day. I promise we will soon.

Well I got to the end of it!! *L*

Busy lady!!! my girls schools don't have parent volunteers, I sort of wish they did. I could join the PTA easily enough but I don't want to be one of the parents coming up with a new idea to have the kids bring money in every two weeks...silly slipper day....mufti day etc....the schools they're in now are easily the most "money grabbing" they've been to, you'd think they'd welcome a bit of free help!

Enjoy Sims...I never got into it....was scared I'd get addicted *L*

Well she is in preschool so they love parents to volunteer. I am not really looking forward toward kingarden cause I know I will not be as involved. I am a bit of the over-protective type. ~grins innocently~ I want to know everything that is going on with her and who her friends are and etc. They do have volunteering in kindergarden but I am not sure of all the details. That reminds me, I have to finish filling out the papers for my clearances. They check your state and government records to make sure it is safe for you to be around children before you can volunteer. After kindergarden I have no clue what I could do but join the PTA. I am sure the change will be a shock for me. I may be ranting about feeling out of the loop when the fall comes around. ~laughs ( ... )

I have a love-hate relationship with the Sims. Since it emulates life, and IS so addicting, I always feel like I'm wasting my time away living someone else's life. But still.. I love it.

Glad to hear you're well and busy!

I know what you mean. Time flies by when you are playing that game. Then I scold myself because I know I could be doing something more useful with my time.

BTW do you have the university expansion? I don't but I am tempted. If you do mind telling me a bit about it? I know some but not much.
But then again I know I could use that money for something else cause it isn't all that cheap if you know what I mean. And they are coming out with a new expansion pack called nightlife that has vampires....not sure when it is due to be released. Rumors say September. I really need a productive hobby and get away from this game. ~lmao~

If the line was busy....then I was online. If I was playing the Sims game (aka my addiction) then I would have been offline. If you called my cell....I don't pick it up unless I know the number. I know self-defeating right? Well it used to be hubby's and he still has collecters calling it....and I don't want to deal with them. I am so sorry I missed your call! I miss you a bunch. ~hugs~

It's great to hear you doing so well hunny!

I remember just what it was like when "daddy" came to school for a day *L* It meant you were so special, and it was soooo exciting... I remember one time we went on a school excursion to the suburb where my dad was working and he surprised me by turning up to be with us on his lunch break... Apparently I didn't stop smiling and telling everyone about it for about a week *L*

Red or white sounds like me too... but don't wish too much that she had a different complexion... our skin type has one of the lowest risks of skin cancer these days because we know that getting burnt is a REALLY bad thing for us... (lots of pain no nice tan *L*) so be thankful she'll have good motiavation for sun screen in the future....

As for the sims.... not my thing *L* but I can see where the addiction would come from

Though when Daddy goes to school he tends to be one of the only males there, even for the big events that I described above. I think it makes him a bit uncomfortable. ~laughs~

That is true.....we avoid the sun at extended times which would put us at lower risk. She also has eczema which breaks out when she gets hot and sweaty. It used to be just inside her elbows and knees. This year she started breaking out everywhere. Her chest, back, even her butt ~giggles~ I never let her out in the sun much in her life. But in school they go outside everyday if it isn't raining. I have had to put her medicine on every other day. The weekend when she stays inside with me it starts going away, by the time school comes around it is back again. I feel so bad for her. It looks awful.

*chuckles* that's part of what makes daddy at school so special hun.... No one else has one *nods seriously*

As for the eczma... the poor thing... I never had that thankfully but one of my friends did and she always just looked in so much discomfort and sometimes pain... She used to avoid so many things because it just made her so uncomfortable....

I do know a lot of kids who grew out of it in primary school though... so hopefully....

I know special for her but wierd for daddy. ~laughs~ Though he has never complained or said anything negative about it, he is a good sport.

I have read up on eczema and if a child has it before the age of three there is a good chance that it can go away on its own. After that is a bit iffy. She got it right around her third birthday, maybe a month or so after. And as time goes on it is getting worse with each spring/summer. She never fusses about it. If she sees it and she itches a lot she will tell me she needs medicine. I am crossing my fingers that it goes away for her sake.
