ugh, I hate math class.
Why can't we get competent teachers to teach us?

I hate math class too! What's most frustrating is that you just know the material isn't that intellectually difficult; it's just so poorly taught that you have no idea what you're doing, why you're doing it, or even worse, how to do it. It's most upsetting when you're forced to teach yourself the material from a book. If I could learn from a book, I could've just bought the book for $100 and learned it on my own. Why do I need to pay 40K a year to diminish my own feeling of self-worth while coming out with nothing more than what I could have accomplished on my own for free? Competent teachers make me feel smart. Therefore, I have reached the following conclusion: it's not that we're incapable; it's that we have teachers who are incapable of teaching.

it's MAT308 (game theory), but it's soooo poorly taught. my goodness. you should go up there and teach us some stuff.
