You're rooting for UConn over Alabama? As anti-South as I am, I really want Alabama to win -- after knocking off Stanford and Syracuse, they deserve to get to the Final Four. You have to root for a successful underdog.

Well, you also have to root for a team that you have loved and followed since sixth grade. Mind you, I am from Connecticut and not Alabama. :) And I have faith in my team.

I'm not sure, actually. I think part of it is because I admire teams from schools that have great academics on top of athletics, but also because some teams have a dignity in their actions before, after, and during the game that is praiseworthy. "Classy" actions are to be commended. However, maybe I hallucinate the whole thing because the closer the fight for victory, the more bitter the game becomes, and I haven't witnessed Duke act under duress. Besides, Chris Duhon gets major points for quietly but nobly leading his team even when his ribs are killing him. Admirable, indeed!
