This book is about Burma/Myanmar, whatever...12 american tourists who were going to be led on an artistic based journey through China and Burma, but the lady who organized the whole thing was mysteriously murdered before the trip took off. Her ghost follows the group and their escapades both up and done, mishaps and fortunes as they travel. Has some very eye opening writing about Burma, I think it's called something like "saving fishes from drowning?" (not sure why I can't remember the title exactly.) I love her writing style, and I got the book at CVS marked down to six bucks so grabbed it as I think Amy Tan anything is worth it. This book is sort of a different direction from her usual writing, and I'm enjoying it very much. I know you don't get a lot of reading time in, but if you do get the chance I think you might enjoy this one.
