We too have been trying to sell our other house. We thought we had it sold until the buyer backed out of the deal. I know how you feel. I'm sending good thoughts your way.
complete and total bummer. I'm so sorry. It's a horrible market, if you're a seller. I've considered putting mine on the market but the loss would be devastating. I'd suggest renting it, but I'm sure you've already thought that one through. And of course, the rental market is also flooded.
The problem with renting is twofold for me. First, I have a CALVET loan that has to be owner occupied, second I need the money from the sale to get my surgeries and live until I can get back to work. I have been looking for rentals in your area. I love it there. Maybe when all this is over we may be neighbors and can walk together over to see the trains. (I am living at my Mom's right now, and I really the sounds from the trains...) Oh BTW I have a huge dog up here if ever you want a big dog fix. Her name is Sammie and she is a Great Pyrenees (?) about the size of a Great Dane, only white and fuzzy. HUGZ
I am sorry your house hasn't sold. Ours hasn't either but we aren't in the same place you are. We don't have to sell it. I sure hope the housing market changes for you. The pics you posted of your home show what a lovely house you have!
Why would your agent put it down? What more could you do financially to make it sell. Sometimes real estate agents make me so made. They don't take any responsibility when something doesn't sell because they do not aggressively market something.
Thanx I need all the good vibes I can get! I don't think all this would bother me so much if I didn't want to keep the house. I have no options and that really bugs me. Two years ago it would have sold for 130,000 more and been sold in two days... Timing is everything. Hugz
holy shiznit that sucks. The last of my buds from the Florida gig (www.retailteamwork.com) is moving closer to the gig - well if you call TN closer. ;-)
We're blessed to be able to stick to our place in Folsom - at least the roof won't leak this fall/winter/spring.
Leaky roofs are no fun! Been there done that! Glad yours is fixed. The young one starts his second year at Sac State in a few days. He is doing ok but this separation is hard for both of us. I am at my Mom's in Cameron Park and he is in Citrus Heights with my brother. It's been three months so far..... HUGZ
