Jesus Christ is risen today! Alleluia! Happy Easter (even belated) to those who celebrate. I hope you had a safe holiday, full of blessings.
Happy (Belated) Pesach or Passover to all manner of Jewish friends on ye Olde Flist. That whole getting-out-of-Egypt thing is still pretty sweet.
Alternate job hunt is well under way. I like the school I'm at now, I just have reached my limit with the whole field, in general. There is a director of music position open in the diocese that I am (maybe) qualified for. I'm going to fancy up my resume and see if I even get a phone call.
I paid off my credit cards on Friday! Wahoo!!!
...I had candy for supper. That was probably not a healthy choice.
Oh. So. I signed up for eHarmony. I just decided -- I'm obviously not meeting people to date in my personal life the supposedly "normal" way. I've been exchanging questions with ONE of the approximately 8 billion men I've sent "I'm interested" messages to. But then I was trolling the message boards and there were a huge number of guys doing the typical "why do all these fat, ugly bitches keeping messaging me?" thing I've found on other dating sites, and... I just don't have any tolerance for that B.S. If I can't find a mate because I'm overweight then -- I guess I just can't. It must not be in the cards, and good riddance.
What else to say? Hmm. Not much. Okay. I'll see you guys around. I'm almost done with Emily May, so hopefully that will be up soon.
