Awww, it was nice of you to post it up here for people who were unable to see it on DA. I can tell you're somewhat frustrated about it, but thank you. =)

Question though; is it labeled "mature" because of the blood? It doesn't seem that bad to me. But I understand, better safe than sorry.

Thanks for posting it here. Its rediculous what DA is trying to do, half the art is put on mature because of some "blood" but I can turn on the local tv channels and I can see worst. Again thanks sooo much!

I can't argue with their choice though even though there should at least be subcategories to the filter system. It's what they have to do to try and appease parents and follow the law.

I can understand that. I wish they would do the subcatagory idea. But theres also the issue with some from other countries outside the US in which they are an adult at 16 or 17. There just needs to be more consideration out there then a complete ban for anyone under 18.

True, but dA's headquarters is based within the US, so it has to obey the law here even though it's mostly centered online.

Did they say the filter was there cause of the blood?
Or might it be the gunplay, minors and the innuendo?
Because if the idea of them was:
Okay...what do we have here? someone shooting a child to 'rescue' someone who looks like someone who's not old enough to drive because the shooter appears to have a gay relationship with the older child...and out of the context the one not old enough to drive is indicated to have sex with another person...

Then I could understand the mature-filter...

Is my deviation Mature Content?
By tagging your deviation as Mature Content you are in essence informing the deviantART browser that your submission contains material or subject matters which may be found to be offensive or upsetting by more sensitive viewers. Common subjects which are considered Mature Content are nudity, excessive violence and blood and gore.

Pornographic and other unacceptably sexual themes continue to be prohibited despite the presence of this tag as are certain other contents which have been judged unacceptable. Information concerning this is covered elsewhere in this FAQ
