I always figured Luke was on board with you the whole time.
Oscar and I struggle with this one - on the one hand, I feel pressured to have children since I'm of that age and my biological clock is ticking. On the other hand, I see screaming kids at Walmart and think, "thank God that's not me". I love my freedom. I love having the extra cash to take nice vacations. I like sleeping in on my days off. I don't have any special desire to become a mom like I hear other women say they do. Oscar says that he wants to have a "legacy", but what does that mean these days, anyway?
Luke did want kids at one point. Now he describes himself as uncertain because of his earlier reasons for wanting kids.
I can understand the pressure of us being at "that age" all too well. I wouldn't say my biological clock ticks exactly, it's more like every so often it makes an appearance as a tiny lingering doubt.
