Gray kitty gets a name!

After much debate, Tom and I finally agreed to name our little gray boy 'Nico' as a nod to Tom's Greek heritage.

Mollie is doing OK with him. She'll hiss if he gets too close (and he's started hissing back), but for the most part she ignores him. We're monitoring them.

He is a sweetie. I love grey tabbies (but I like black cats best because apparently nobody ever wants them at the shelter, and I feel sorry for them).

It's true, sadly. I volunteer at a shelter and we always have the hardest time placing the black cats.

I reckon the problem is a lack of marketing. Black kitties are chic! They go with every colour of furniture! They make you look slimmer when they sit on your lap!
