So, I've never actually seen RHPS (I'm a weirdo that way). Is this an 80s re-make, or is this the original movie but with the audience wearing 80s outfits?

This is the original movie with the shadow cast *actors* wearing 80s outfits. The audiance is encouraged to wear 80s as well, I presume.

David is correct. It's the original 1975 movie, but to twist things up a bit, all the live performers will be in 80's styles. Audience members are definitely encouraged to dress up as well!
