Jean Claude is actually pretty fair. he's never done any really serious harm to people, though the only real punishment i think we ever saw him give was to Gretchen. (and that was locked in a casket wrapped with silver chains and a cross.) its possible there were others, but i would have to reread the whole series because its been a while and i've no doubt forgotten shit.

i'm sure the girls will come out only a little bit scathed. maybe a little bit smarter, too. we'll have to see. as for giving LKH pointers... i doubt she'd take them.

It's about god damn time someone finally told them what the hell is going on. I have to wonder if Remy is responsible for their actions, might JC choose to punish him in their stead? Might be better than further damaging the girls.

Remy, you need to get those girls under control. Keep them safe.

yeah. it is definitely time someone spilled the beans there. the way the conversations in this chapter were heading, it ended up being a natural conclusion to go there.

we'll see about the punishment later.

Remy needs to get his head out of his ass is what he needs to do. and yes. he needs to keep them safe.

there will be some Remy/JC action! promise. not sure when or where, but it'll happen. those two are too hot not to have them get naked together.

Finally done binge reading from start to finish and I'm just blown away by all the new stuff and not so new stuff.

All I can say is JC's way was and is not working at all. Never was.

It's about fucking time JC talks to Remy about the marks and stuff.

What I don't understand us the threat against Gin when I thought that punishing her severely was a bad thing that Anita talked him out of but turned right around and is going right back to it.

Or is he giving tempting Remy with taking her place by threatening Gin?

So confusing.

Anita is still a bitch though... lol  But honestly, I like this version of Anita better than the one I was reading about while I was still actively reading the series, I need to catch up. Maybe.

LKH needs to figure out that there doesn't need to be a shag fest every 10 pages or so. I feel she turned Anita into a caricature of herself... *shrugs*

wow! binge reading from start to finish? that was an investment of time.

mmmm. Jean Claude's way was bound to fail. time has passed so i don't recall the reasons we came up with the original idea way back when. but it really wasn't a very good reason. then again, i don't think our trio even realized what kind of bond they had. how was he supposed to know?

the punishment thing really isn't something that they can skip. not in this instance. her loss of control was serious and it can't be ignored. you'll see what Jean Claude was doing in the coming chapter or chapters. depending on how long it takes to get there. i promise it isn't arbitrary.

Anita is, not surprisingly, one of my least favorite characters in the whole series. which is sad, because she started out pretty awesome. i still read, but i read for the boys. i'm addicted to them.

i'll do my best to get on another chapter. been kicking over rocks, trying to get Beyond Death to shift into gear. maybe i'll get a chapter of that done soon.

Yeah, took me roughly two days to read it all, curse having real life shit to do...lol

It was definitely worth the time it took. Hell first day I read like 12-13 chapters?

I understand he can't let her get away with what happened, even if it was an accident. But I hope he came temper it with mercy considering what she went through with Jo and Remy. Sounds like she could use some time with Marianne.

As for the AB series, I need to check what I have and don't have and see if I can find the rest at the library before buying to see if it's even worth buying them to catch up. I read mostly Sherrilyn Kenyon now with a side of JR Ward.
