well today is a very sad day for gordon and i. because of less work, the rise in fuel/heating prices and we cant get a lodger in because there is no work up here we are having to sell spooky towers. we are both heartbroken as we love the place but better selling now while we are still on top of things

:( That's very sad - I remember how chuffed you guys were when you first moved up and how much the house means to you. Hopefully, things will change and perk up again at some point in the future and you find yourself happy somewhere else that is just as lovely - I know it is probably well easier said than imagined though *hugs*

going to get a smaller place in fraserburgh as gordons work is there. we dont want to come back to aberdeen as it would mean he would be back to commuting for hours again.
we could stick it out in spooky towers till the recession is over and we have might have more money coming in again but decided better to call it quits before things get worse.
