I hear you on the changes, it's been a roller coaster of a half-century of celebrations and lack of them.

I will say I will not shop this time of year unless it's somewhere like half-price books. Malls, no freaking way, same with the Toys R US, Walmart, Target, etc. Too many people with jangled nerves fighting over the last toy, not realizing that those of us who are sensitives are about to die in there from their energy. I've been totally converted to buying online, having it wrapped and sent to the kids and grandkids. It keeps my stress down which keep my body from hurting.
