Reading Plato's Republic in one week is not fun, especially when the style grates on your nerves. Nearly the entire thing is Socrates making an assertion, and those listening to him agreeing whole heartedly, so every other thing you are reading is an afirmation of the argument that Socrates puts forward. Thankfully, I am almost done with reading

Freakishly small world. I went to school with him and his little brother was one of my best friends in 2nd grade. I don't know if he'd return the sentiment (what boy would?), but that's how I felt about him. heh.

That's pretty cool. And I had a couple of male best friends in elementary school. In fact, most of my friends were boys, and they seemed to enjoy my company just fine.

Same here. I didn't get along very well with girls.. heh.
