I walked into my primary physician's office today to schedule an appointment and to make sure they accepted my new insurance plan. When I explained the condition of my feet to the receptionist, who asked, she conferred with some man who told me to go to the emergency room without anybody *actually* looking at my feet. Blow me. I am beyond tired. I was told we'd be discharged this "morning". However, even when told that the doctor had scheduled a last bili ribbon test for noon, which sort of stretched the notion of morning. We had to wait for the results of that test, and then they had to call those results to the doctor before being discharged. It was quarter to 2 when ( Read more... )

I had to take Ava back for more testing yesterday, we ran a quick errand and a food run afterwards, and the SECOND I walked back in the door I got a call from Ava's doctor saying she has Jaundice and that the levels had spiked since the day before.
