Adam was a large man, anyone would say. 6 and a half feet of Adam squeezed into a tiny slice of room by Emma's bedside might have looked awkward and some might have thought he was uncomfortable, but sitting on that tiny chair with Emma's hand in his was exactly where he wanted to be.
