I got my credit card because they just sent me one. Try capital one. They're really great. Thats who I go through. You might try to apply for one online (unless you already did this).

well what bank do you have? i have wells fargo and when i set up a debit account i got a credit account as well.

a CREDIT credit? or one where they have backup money...like, you give them so much and they let you use twice that or something?
because i tried that (i have wells fargo too) and they said i had insufficiant credit history.
