I got a craft idea for my new house. Now keep in mind this doesnt happen often. It requires me to find small rectangular (1in X 3 in) and square (3in X 3in) peices of glass. The kind of glass you use for picture frames. ANyone know where I can grab some without having to cut it meself???

Call a glass shop and ask for scraps ... I bet they would love to get rid of them.

Glass companies or sometimes art supply places that do framing have odd sizes and shapes of glass available for people who make frames themselves.

Do you have a Settles Glass store near you?

http://settlesglass.com/

I'm not sure if they're only in Quincy, but you might be able to get some pieces from them. You know, like pieces they throw out from when they're cutting huge pieces of glass and stuff?

I dunno, just a thought.. :)

Go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of picture frames for a buck each and use the glass out of them :)

Is there a Micheal's Crafts out here? They sell that kind of stuff for dirt cheap.
