I love drama....I live and breathe it....it's in my blood. So why is it that when ever I think about this show I want to cry uncontrolably

Oh sweety. Crying is fine. Everyone needs to do it now and then, but don't blame yourself for your part. I think they did what they did because a.) Ward sometimes just goes on looks (*cough Cough* Hannah) and/or b.) They knew you could bring life to the character you were given. I wanna go with b. But i've not seen or heard the show so i don't know if A is true or not. Don't feel bad. You're going to have I know it. You love drama in a way i've never seen and THAT is what makes you an actress, not the memorization, not the # of lines you have. It's the life you bring into the character.

Yeah, crying is good...it releases endorphins and endorphins make you healthy. And usually when you're all done crying you'll feel tons better. And when you hold tears in you just feel like a pile of crap about to explode...so let yourself cry. I'm sure your friends understand why your depressed, and they won't think you're a downer...everyone gets sad sometimes. You'll get over it because from what I've learned about your attitude for drama from your lj....you'll get a lead in a play sooner or later, you just have to find plays to audition for.
Rachel, at least you had a lead at one fricking point in time. There are plenty of us out here who never even got the lead at all in anything, so I don't really think that it is fair for you to be feeling this way at all. You had a great lead in HONK!, and at least you got most of the attention for something in one of the plays you've been in. I have been working for a long time with singing lessons and practicing my acting to even get a lead. I never got one even when I probably was good enough for one. So please do not take this wrong, but please get over yourself. You had a lead once in high school. Do you really want to be like selfish Scott Oldham? What about the people who have worked just as long as you and never got a lead?
Emma, didn't I say that everyone deserved their parts? Didn't I say that I was aware of how self centered I sounded at the time? I know that I've had a great part, I know that everyone deserves a fair shot and that there are people who haven't even gotten any lines their entire highschool career. All I was saying was that people younger than me and people who had just started drama last year got incredible parts while I got a no-liner part! As a seior who has paid her dues for four years (when working my way up from the no liner parts to a speaking part) it kindof hurts, okay? I thought you of all people would understand that! And don't talk to me about not getting a lead! If you had stayed here the four full years i know you would have gotten a leading role. You've had such amazing roles in the past
