You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ( Read more... )

Everyone in Japane seems to have some sort of meaning to their name. I never had to think about mine before...

I wonder what 'Wonka' means too, since it's going to be my name soon... Oh and 'von Himmelriech' means 'of Heaven', so my name translates to 'Lady of Heaven'... though I suppose I don't live up to my name...

It's better than being "Strained White Water". I know my last name means something like "White Water". (Maybe I'm just "Warped". Would you like to call one of your children "Warped"?)
Maybe that's normal if you're being named by a guy whose name means "Blade"...

Japanese names are weird, I think. (Then again, I was raised in America.)

And I was raised in Germany. Names don't mmean much there either. I only know mine cause I looked it up one day.
