An episode where I didn't hate Chloe(/Oliver) and Clark did reporter-y things and everybody made sense and there was banter and comedy and while I wish Lois would get to do more it was almost flawless.
it really was almost flawless. i've wished for more for Lois this whole season but what I did like about this is even though she wasn't necessarily out investigating, she was still the one to connect some of the major dots on the story - we got to see both of their strengths playing out. hope we get more though.
Well, first of all : Nathan gif an Masquerade ? I'm in heaven ! And second of all : Great "review" I couldn't agree with you more about Chloe and Chlollie. ;)
Great review! You may not think it's intelligent but I do. Then again, I really do enjoy your reviews. You always make a lot of good points. :)
you have shown yourself capable of doing something not many writers are able to do on this show simultaneously - write a good Clark Kent AND a good Chloe Sullivan. These two mystical, magical feats are generally mutually exclusive on Smallville and you've had your hits and misses but this episode? Lovely. Yes, this! I'm glad to hear I am not the only who feels this way.
I loved Clark in this episode. He was great in all of his roles and he has come so far. He's Superman in everything but the name and costume (and okay, the flying too). :D
Clois makes me ridiculously happy. They have an adult relationship and it's amazing. Like you said, they have their issues but they work them out and can apologize when they go too far.
My one nitpick about Lois - it appears that Lois actually doesn't have a story arc completely her own this season. I wish we could see more journalist!Lois. She's mostly

This episode made me so deliriously happy, I have no words.
LOL, drunk Clark looks more and more hilarious as we get closer to the episode, i cannot stop laughing at this Canadian preview. I won't spoil in case you haven't seen it - but it's highlarious1!!!!
Oh noes, bb, *hugs* I know, I feel like we haven't had as much Clois - or that Chlollie has been in the forefront but since I ship them, I don't mind so much and I know it's temporary
