This is seriously amazing, great job! Loved all the OQ hints, obviously ;)
They should really do something with Robin/Belle's relationship on the show, could be very interesting.
and I didn't even think about it until now but yes, the parallels! Belle/the Dark One, Robin/the Evil Queen- there's no one else out there who would ever understand Robin or Belle better than each other, that's so sweet!

Writing this has made me fall in love with the Robin/Belle friendship. I realized how WELL they could get along, and how much they can support each other. I wish the show would give it to us, but I doubt we'll see it. We only got a small reunion when they saw each other in FTL, but all we know about them as that she saved him from Rumple. He's grateful, but they haven't *connected* as friends yet on the show. So, this is my head!canon until I'm proved otherwise. ;)

I really love this fic! I kind of want this to happen in the show too. People won't understand Robin falling for Regina just like they don't understand Belle loving Rumple. It's sad, really.

One of the things I love about OQ is that no one knows about Regina and Robin except Tink. They're sort of in their little bubble and free to explore this thing between them without outside interference (although that will probably change at some point).

I hadn't thought about the people giving Robin a hard time for being in love with Regina, but it is definitely something that could happen. The Charmings have forgiven her, Belle is starting to after her apology, but the rest of the townspeople are probably just waiting for the next opportunity to blame her for something.

Outlaw Queen echoes so many others relationships in the show, it's not even funny, haha.

Such a great story. : ) I love the friendship between Belle and Robin and you wrote it so beautifully. I also really like the similarities between how Belle sees Rumple and how Robin sees Regina. : )

Thank you so much! That's exactly the point I was trying to get across. :) I believe that in order to become fully 'good', Regina will need Robin as much as Rumple needs Belle. And let's face it, it's true of a lot of things in life -- you need someone to believe in you.
