I just made a pretty big friend list cut. All I can say is that actions speak louder than words, and despite my trying, it really is a two way street. I'm tired of being ignored on LJ AND IM anytime I try and connect, or we're just really not clicking ( Read more... )

Ah, well. No hard feelings on my part. I sure never meant to make you feel like you didn't matter! I just rarely comment anymore, as I'm a little overwhelmed with the amount of stuff happening over here.

I can at least still read the public posts!

It's funny how my JOURNAL makes me feel like I need comments, but it does for whatever reason. If you'd like to keep reading me, I'll add you back, I really don't make public posts!

I think that's normal - these become so much more than just journals - it's like a table with some friends over coffee. And I can see how - if you were to bust out with something important over a latte and nobody said a word? that would be hard to deal with.

I can't promise I will be a great commenter in the future, either! But I do read. I comment out loud to the screen sometimes, if that counts. :)

I'd love to keep reading you - but please don't take my lack of commenting as anything other than me being pressed and, well, ok, a little lazy. :D My laptop is soooo sloooow. :D

I totally understand. And I've said this many times before to people: I do NOT expect comments to every single damn post, no one reasonably could. It's just the important ones that get ignored that upset me. Totally not being unreasonable. And ok!

You do matter to me. No, I haven't been commenting (and sometimes I don't know what to say), but I also haven't been posting to my own journal much. I'm (just a bit) depressed and dealing with a medical problem as well as trying to take care of my two little girls, not to mention the overwhelming chores and not being able to afford groceries. Normalcy will eventually return and, with it, my two or twenty cents. Please understand this is an explanation, not a guilt trip. I'll miss you and Kendra.

Damn human nature. That does read like a guilt trip. Sorry about that.

I'm really sorry you've cut me. I have 6 kids at home and frankly don't have time to comment most days, but I really did enjoy reading your LJ posts.

I'll miss you if you decide not to add me back in again.
