I was off school for four days due to headaches, stomach pains, nausea and isomnia. I wasn't feeling any different this morning but I went anyway. Homework was what I wanted to catch up with, luckily my class hadn't gotten that  much of stuff to do. I was ( Read more... )

I dunno, I think music theory and reading sheet music is pretty interesting, maybe its because I only recently started learning it. It's like learning another language, which I also think is interesting. LOL.

Icon love! XD
Yes I thought so at first too but now when I'm not really good at it (well I can't be good in the beginning ;P) I sort of find it boring. I hope that when I'm a little more educated I'll find it fun.
I love languages-it's fun. But when you have a stupid teacher -like I do in spanish class- it's living hell.

Thank you. I made it myself XD
LOL maybe I have a different idea of 'interesting'. Maybe its because music is so all encompassing: there is just so much to learn. You could be a musician your whole life and there'd still be some new technique or song or something. ANYWAY, I'm done geeking out about it. :P
Yeah, languages are awesome. I'm thinking about learning German.

That's the great thing about music, isn't it? You can't ever learn all of it, so it never ends...
Oh I don't mind you geeking out about it-I'm a full time music-nerd. ;P
Cool. Will German be your first new language? C:

Haha, when I was growing up, my mother made me play a bunch of music instruments and I had to learn how to read notation. I can't read treble clef anymore, but I can read bass clef. Growing up, I always thought that ALL musicians could read music and that the only way to learn was by finding a teacher and learning properly.

I would love to hear you sing some time! :D

Hihi, my father went through the same thing when he was growing up. Today he can't remember much of it so it's good thing that you still can read the bass clef! XD
Funny thing is, most musicians -that I know of- can't read music at all.

Ah really? I've been thinking of putting up a youtube account just for that. C:
