 I've been trying to think of something to say about Japan for a few days now, but any gesture I can make seems inadequate.  I can't process tragedy on such a massive scale.  It's just so horrible.  I really hope that things don't get any worse for them right now.  If any of you know somebody who's caught up in the disaster, my heart goes out to

I know what you mean there; there's not a lot we can say here in cosy little England where the worst you can expect from Nature is a couple of tiles blown off a roof. I'm just keeping quiet.

It's terrible all the natural disasters that are going on. My friend's parents that work at the Argentinian embassy moved to Japan 5 months ago but fortunately they are doing fine well as fine as they can be :s

I heard the quake moved Japan. Water monitoring devices, so instruments not meant to detect earthquakes, also detected on this side of the world on the US's east coast, in Florida.
