Title: Blokes on the Beach

Pairing: Horatio/Archie plus a surprise cameo couple *g*
Rating: PG-13
Notes: Written for mylodon, who was so kind as to send me a John Barrowman CD. Inspired by her modern-day AU The Even Chance revisited, which I highly recommend, although this makes sense without having read it. She requested Horatio and ( Read more... )

That's so cute! I like Archie and Horatio in the modern world. They're just so pretty and cute together.

And I like John and Scott. Hmmmm...Methinks they remind me of someone. ;)

Good stuff. *g*

Thanks! Mylodon deserves all the credit for putting them in the modern world in the first place. They're adorable whatever time period they're in.
Yes, they do sound rather familiar, don't they? ;)

*dances daftly in delight*

Well you know how much I squeed over this - although I'm coming to think that Lucy is my fave character. I adored all the banter over holiday plans.

I must get back to P-town ....

*glee* I hope this makes you as happy as the CD makes me! Yeah, Lucy is pretty awesome. And the banter was lots of fun to write.

Writing this made me want to visit there again too!

Aw! A and H are adorable in the modern world. Good going not letting them drive, it's a nightmare. I can see that as a recipe for disaster.

Thank you! Mylodon really deserves the credit for putting them there in the first place. I'm just playing in her sandbox.
Yeah, I though they'd be much better off in a boat, where they belong. =)

Oh ye of little faith - they'd be fine. They'd do what we did when in the US - get a hire car and just concentrate on the driver being next to the white line in the middle of the road. Worked a dream - except that we lost the ability to tell left from right. Really weird.

Oh, it's not the left hand driving that would cause problems - it's driving in Boston. WORST place in the US to drive (behind NYC and Miami, that is). It's confusing, and the drivers are awful. I would recommend it to someone I hate.

Yay, I'm glad I managed to keep the boys recognizable! If Horatio lived now, he'd totally be a computer geek. *points at icon* And in mylodon's story that this is based on, they actually meet at a theater.

Hee, thanks! I had fun with that. *g*

I squee muchly and not very sensibly because I've only had four and a bit hours sleep and I've another 5am start in the morning and it's nearly bed time again.....which cutting the piffle short means I've read- I really enjoyed - is awesome and I squee loudly again. Forgive me?

Oh, that's fine, squee away! When I'm that tired I don't usually bother to comment, so I really appreciate your doing so. Now get some sleep! =)
