New LJ Etiquette

So I just realized that LJ now has a "love" button. I was wondering why so many little hearts were popping up in my comments. :)

Question: Am I supposed to respond to these? I don't see a way to "love" back, so I've just been replying with HTML hearts.

I don't really know if you are supposed to respond to them - as for me, I sometimes leave a heart but I prefer making "real" comments and I don't mind at all if you don't respond to the heart reactions :) just do what you feel like, it's your journal after all :)
