This weekend I watched a beautiful film called "Watercolors" which had been recommended to me by a friend. I hire DVDs from Lovefilm on a weekly basis and this is the best one I've seen since "Little Ashes".  It's the story of the relationship between two young men, one who lives for swimming and the other who is an artist, with outstanding ( Read more... )

jane, hi...i'll keep this in mind; it sounds very worthwhile. i don't belong to a video DVD rental (called netflix here), and my local video store is in major financial trouble, so they don't have titles like this very often, but maybe someday!

i hope you're doing well...

hugs,
jeannie

I think you'll like it Jeannie. I must say that signing up with Lovefilm has enabled me to see lots of films I would not have seen otherwise.

I'm doing very well, thanks. Hope you are too! :)

I've heard good things about this film but unfortunately it's never been released in Australia so I can't hire it or buy it locally.

Amazon.com has it so I'll probably buy it. There is another Gay cinema movie I want so it's just so easy/too easy to add another DVD to the order.

Yes I've ended up buying DVDs because I wasn't able get hold of a copy any other way. Let me know what you think of it when you've seen the film. :)
