Life is crazy...working 45 hr weeks when i'm used to 20.  Trying to keep writing but all my characters want to be as sleepy as I am.  Which isnt a bad thing to write.  Once.  When they all want to be written that way, it becomes a problem.

So on that note, here's a little more of the Sean/Martial-art-instructor universe.  Still no promises that ( Read more... )

They're my favorite PG couple. :) I've probably got a few little snippets in me still. There's just like--no destination. It's a road-trip sort of fic.

Was thinking about you a few days ago, wondering where you were! ~hugs~

And this? It's so sweet, and domestic, and well-paced to get across that whole tired feeling. Love this pairing, and I'll definitely read more if/when you feel like writing it.* :) ~happysigh~

*no pressure though!!

yeah, real life has eaten me. Ugh.

Glad it's as sweet to read as it is to write. Heh, I think Dave's going to be teaching Sean some things about patience. Dave's so mellow and Sean's wound so tight and pushes so hard. I think they have a cute dynamic.

I'm still working on LAYB. Ch 19 should be up in a day or two. Just waiting for the revisions to be looked over. I've got a beginning for the sequel to "Fucken Brilliant," but I need to be more awake so they don't fall asleep together before they do something sexy. :)

Have a great weekend,
-J.

*wibbles incoherently* Fluffy sleepy time fluff! XD!

I understand work sucks sometimes, I do it too. *sigh* 45 hour days though, that's gotta suck some hella balls. *cuddles*

You know, I'm starting to disbelieve that disclaimer just a bit. There's got to be some basic fundamental truths there about Sean, even if he doesn't have a big gay crush on his martial arts instructor.

A sequel to "Fucken Brilliant," eh? Need to stay awake, eh? *rushes over to mail some caffeine pills*

I think this has to be the fluffiest thing I've ever written. In a good way.

I dunno if I've captured any of the "real" Sean. From knowing that he's a busy actor (from his filmography) and the little bits about him being in martial arts, I've tried to create a believable character. Seems like it's working for you. :) As far as I know, everything that's not public knowledge is fiction.

I found Six Ways to Sunday at the used video store yesterday. yay! Only watched the first few minutes so far though. The movie is already fucked up, six minutes in.

Aye, and sometimes even public knowledge is fiction. Meh.

Six Ways to Sunday was the first movie I bought after BDS, and wow did I love Norman Reedus for it. It's so F'ed up, and yet you still like the guy. The Jewish mob and Adrian Brody are the best though.

Six ways was like his first movie, right? The boy was amazing. And god, what a twisted little story.

I love the thing with the outlets and his mom having control over the light in his bedroom. That was such a cool way of /showing/ the way she kept power over him.

Wow. It's all flattering and sweet and stuff that people wonder about me when I'm quiet.

The little Sean/Dave storyline is so--recreational. I've got a few more "glimpses" to write for it, so there will definitely be more. I just am not promising that the "more" will be any sort of actual story with a beginning, middle and end.

I'll post the next chapter of 'brother' this weekend. glad to know it's so eagerly anticipated.
